IMSA Helmet Kit

The helmet kit that I ordered worked great in the 8 hour enduro that I drove in on Saturday. I'm not happy about the shipping time. I ordered on Oct. 6 at 9:30am and it arrived on Oct 13. I was told it would ship on the same day I ordered it, but it did not get picked up until Monday the 9th. When it's time for more radio equipment, hopefully these types of issues are resolved. Thank you.

I purchased the IMSA style helmet mic to replace an older one that was not functioning properly. The new one is loud and clear.

Quality product. Race in the Lucky Dog Racing League and it works great. Plan on buying another headset and radios and car kit for a second car.

I had a last minute need for a headset so I ordered it 2nd day delivery. It actually arrived in one day. The headset was good quality and works nicely.

This is the second IMSA Helmet Kit that I have ordered from Sampson and one again I am very pleased with the quality of the product, the ease of installation and the high quality of the customer service! Keep up the great work!!

Worked great

Digital radios work great, even long distance, below hills, etc. Crystal clear communications. Long battery life, you can really push it on a busy weekend. No battery life left indicator, so we recharge at some point on the weekend. Some delay due to digital syncing up. Issues: Wiring between driver radio and helmet, and helmet wiring do not have adequate strain relief. New helmet wiring no longer has heat shrink. Added my own strain relief, since small wires (24 gauge broke?) will break if you don't disconnect properly (leave the car without disconnecting).

Great kit - easily installed and fits the later helmets with no drama! Great instructions.

Was in a rush to get a replacement helmet kit in time for a race weekend (hence our race team name, Last-Minute Racing), and the order was fulfilled and delivered as promised with just enough time to get it installed. Worked perfectly, as expected. Thanks SRC!
